Each month we track the rapid changes taking place in the technologies
that are giving rise to the "costless" manipulation, storage, and transmission
of digitized information.
Every so often, we will focus in depth on a specific theme. Also,
periodically, we will offer editorial comment on the profound implications
of the digital economy for Canada's existing institutional structures.
Our goals are:
to gather in one place, and in a highly summarized form, information
to be used by decision-makers as they develop strategies for adapting their
organizations from an industrial to a digital economy;
to accelerate Canada's understanding of the pervasive changes already
underway in the way we live and make our living
to become a cross-country forum for comment on these changes and on
how they are impacting the different regions across the land.
